Informing firms

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Dec 04, 2014 2:37 am

I'm a 2L who just accepted a clerkship for 2016-17. Is there any protocol for when i should tell the firms I am summering with that I accepted an offer? Was probably going to just tell them this summer.

I told my 2L firm prior to summer (March/April) when I called to check in with the recruiting people about some things. I don't think it would have mattered if I waited until the summer. Short answer, I guess, is I'm not aware of any protocol.
