Apply broadly to top firms now, you'll be fine with those credentials.

Are you truly and legitimately concerned about finding a job after graduating top 10% from HYS and doing a COA clerkship?

You will be fine.

For fall 2015 start, you're saying to apply to DC firms now? I was under the impression that hiring was in the spring?

What's the harm in applying now? You're a top candidate- why not get your name and interest in now?

The worst that happens is they write back and say - we'll hold your app till spring.

That would give you the opportunity to "follow uyp and show continued interest later. I don't see adownside.
