Ct. of App. targeted coverletter

Post by Anonymous User » Wed May 28, 2014 3:08 pm

Quick question,

For a targeted cover letter for COA judges who indicate that they want individuals with diverse experiences, is it appropriate to put some personal background story in the cover letter (granted that it is not anything that would make anyone reading it uncomfortable) OR is it best to just keep the cover letter to legal experience? I also am interested in hearing from those district court clerks who went on to COA clerkship on what they included in their cover letter. Thank you so much in advance!
