Anyone know if the judges outside of Colorado bring their clerks to oral argument? Especially curious about the judges with chambers in Oklahoma and Utah. If so, I'd be curious to know how travel/lodging works. Thanks!

Yes, they do. Most clerks fly and stay at the Mariott city center.

Pretty much everybody does. I think the exception is Hartz who only brings one clerk to each session.

Do judges on the 10th Cir. share bench memos or do each judge's clerks write their own for each case?

My Judge didn’t share memos, and I’m not aware of any judges who do.

I interviewed with a judge on the 10th, and he did not either. It sounded to me like their caseload was light enough that it didn't make sense to do it.

Hello! Any news on Lucero? Has he hired for 2020? Anything in particular he likes in clerks?

Lucero is done for 2020 per OSCAR.

Briscoe is reviewing 2020 applications including 2Ls who weren’t able to submit until June.
