I also have been told that not everyone gets the screeners with Frank. So, if he has ever met you in some capacity and can feel comfortable passing your app along, don't expect to hear until the justices start looking.

can you elaborate on that last post? you are saying that if Frank knows an applicant/an applicant's work personally, he might pass along somebody's application without calling them in as part of the official process?

From my career services office: often times, say if the student once interned for a judge on the Appeals Court, they have already met Frank Mockler and gone through an orientation, so the screening interview is unneeded.

It probably just applies to former interns and stuff. I know many of the judges take summer and semester intern/externs, so it probably lightens the load a bit if they wind up applying for term positions.

I had to withdraw, but might apply for the 15-16 term, so if anyone has updates I'd be curious.

I got an email a few days ago that candidates for interviews have been selected, so I assume those of you who haven't heard yet made the cut.

Has anyone received an interview with one of the judges yet?

Does anybody know how many candidates are typically interviewed per position?

Reviving this.

When they say postcard - does an envelope suffice? Or do they want "greetings from cape cod!"?
