DDC or Fourth Cir district crts?

I have a SSC in a midatlantic state for 2014-15, coming from a 30-40 school in the same area, on LR, published, top 20%. Im interested in doing a district court clerkship for trial experience/developing more contacts etc after the first clerkship ends.
Any chance at DDC? 4th cir district courts (i.e. D.Md, D.Del)?
Or would you just wait and try to get into a law firm out of the SSC (currently a clerk at a midlaw firm, sometimes they make offers), forgoing your chance at a clerkship for 2015-16

From my understanding DDC is tough to crack. But, you never know if you never try. Give it a shot! Also, as an fyi, so you don't make this mistake in an interview, District of Delaware is in the 3rd Circuit (Delaware is also tough). Your best bet is the rural locations of Maryland, North Carolina, etc. Try magistrates as well.

The district courts in Maryland are located in Baltimore and Greenbelt (which is on the DC Metro line). There are no "rural locations" for federal courts in Maryland.

good catch lol, i really just mean any crts in the midatlantic, cause thats where i live

Haha, well I guess that would be the place to apply if there were such locations.
