+1. I am guessing she will hire folks with Georgia connections, as seems to have been her tendency in the past.Anonymous User wrote:

I also applied; not yet.

Does anyone know if Judge Hull has hired for 2015? Her postings are still active on OSCAR. Worth an application?

go for it. if you address her as a female in your cover letter you will already be ahead of 70% of apps.

in what context would a gendered pronoun ever even come up in a cover letter?seizmaar wrote:go for it. if you address her as a female in your cover letter you will already be ahead of 70% of apps.

in this instance i would try to make it happen because it shows you've done more than no research. bloomberg legal just referred to her as "he" and "him" last week so it's fresh in her mind. but go neutral if you want.

You're taking this gender thing too far so I'll just ask if you could provide a not-horribly-awkward example of gendered pronoun usageseizmaar wrote:in this instance i would try to make it happen because it shows you've done more than no research. bloomberg legal just referred to her as "he" and "him" last week so it's fresh in her mind. but go neutral if you want.

Re: Let's talk 11th Circuit!
I have it on good authority that Judge Hull won't be hiring any 2016-17 term clerks until mid-summer. She still has two spots vacant for 2015-16. Chief Judge Carnes is full for 2016-17 and has started interviewing for 2017-18.

Not at all. I was wondering more along the lines of the amount of collaboration/interaction with other clerks, etc. Is it more memos back and forth or group debate?Anonymous User wrote:Lol.
