You know, I never actually received the red book. I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw the version on the website. Not sure if it got lost in the mail or what, but I guess I won't bother them since it's online anyway.

They don't, so I think just the check is fine, with "seat deposit" in the memo line.

Also, I don't know about you guys but on February 14th, they sent me an e-mail with a form I could fill out and fax to them if I wanted to pay my deposit by authorizing them to debit my bank account.
