Okay, I updated the OP with as much as I could remember for now. Let me know if there's anything I should add.

Pretty sure I know who Arbiter is, which means I'm pretty sure I know who he's referring to. But I could be wrong. And Lincoln, see, that was a smart upperclassman thing to do. Us poor 1Ls had no idea that would happen and had a grand old time yelling, screaming, pushing, crying.

Sorry class of 2016 for still talking coats—just wanted to make sure you learned from our (my) mistakes.

Lavitz, in re: to "Deadlines are not strict, but it is recommended your health forms be processed by August 9th" in the OP I just wanted to say that I got an email saying that if I didn't have my forms submitted by August 10 I'd be charged $100. Not sure if they're not strict about that but it came from the Garnett (sp) health center and not the law school itself (is that even a part of the law school?..) so maybe they will collect on that.

No, it's not part of the law school. I'll beef up the language on that one.

Hey incoming 1Ls! I am a soon-to-be 2L currently in need of a roommate for my 2BR apt. this upcoming year as my former roommate is transferring to a different law school. The lease for the apartment runs for a year beginning Aug. 1, rent is ~$750/month + electric & internet, the apartment is located in Collegetown about a 5 minute walk from the law school (plus only one block from Chapter House), and you will get me as your roommate (clearly the best perk of all).

Did you get the e-mail with orientation information? It was the same thing in paper form, plus they printed out the ad for the rope climbing event from the fb page and put that in there too.

Same here..... I still need to figure out housing, visa issues, etc. so on the facebook page, I was really surprised to see so many people planning to arrive so early.
