Great. One assignment due thus far in law school and I turned it in over a day late. Not a good start to this journey.

To be fair it was all fluff. Like a two page assignment about our history as a writer (for CLR). Still, it was quite dumb not to take 30 minutes to do this assignment on time. Other than that my CLR class is awesome, 13 people and like only 15 pages to read during orientation, so that class will be great.

I keep checking the thread, being annoyed that there are no new posts, and then not posting anything. 'Tis a vicious cycle.

On a related note, I suck at outing TLS people. I'm pretty sure I know who one of you is. Not a clue about the rest of you.

How's everybody's first few weeks going?

I feel like things are at least starting to make sense. I'm getting comfortable reading cases (we'll see how that goes when the reading assignments start ramping up in a couple weeks, but so far so good). I only get lost a couple times a day on campus now (getting to the third floor of Rubloff for the first time was... fun). Working on the first CLR memo now and I don't feel completely clueless, so that's a good sign.

Good times. Though I am finding CLR the most useless useful class thus far.

Things are going fine. I think I am understanding most of the material so far and I try to find humor in the case opinions. My CLR prof is pretty awesome, she basically assigns no reading and walks us through how to do every assignment before we do it. Also, she plays poker, which is cool.

Hello baby birds! Just checking in. Everyone doing ok? This is usually the time of year where 1Ls start to simultaneously hit their stride (in real classes) and lose their minds (in CLR).
