My two bedroom will be about $1600. But I had to get a two bedroom, I'm used to spending about $1000 for my own bedroom in a multi-bedroom place, and it's the nicest apartment I have ever been in. I think after the first year once I/we get more familiar with Austin we will probably downgrade to a cheaper apartment however.romanticegotist wrote:Also fucking LOL at the chicago kids paying 12-1400/month for studios.

I can't wait to move to Austin, but our official move-in date is on my brother's birthday. I tried to convince him that he wanted to spend it helping me move and then going out for fancy cocktails, but he doesn't seem enthused. I'm going to call and see if it can be moved up tomorrow!
When is everyone else moving in? (Have we had this discussion already?)

Moving to my new place some time in mid-August. Worried the transition back to having a roommate will reveal how odd I've become

For those that care/play, I will be visiting UT's golf club for dinner. It's hilariously nice and out in the Hill Country, so if golf is your thing I would highly recommend looking into what kind of deals students get.

Wokeupinacar could try to throw a pre/postgame party, but we all know what happened last time.
