Where did you check to get your assignment?

Yes, if you proceed just as if you were going to apply for housing originally, it takes you to a login portal as opposed to a new housing application. There you just login with your NetID and NYUHome password.
ETA: My housing assignment was there as well, just not in the email.

Did you guys click on "Application status"?
I got my "room reservation details" but the next section, "occupancy details," doesn't say a name for the other room. (says "empty")
Did other people get details for the roommate section ? thanks!

I don't have information on a roommate either, just the apartment type. I assumed its random because I didn't apply to live with anyone.

I applied for a family housing studio for my S/O and I.. was assigned to a shared two bedroom apartment with a random roommate...???
Now I have to go NYC apartment hunting, just what I want to do. Really frustrating, I don't even know where to start
NYU home-> NYU life tab -> down to the left housing registry.

ps what building wondering if they only announced Dag
Yes, D'Ag. Originally applied for Mercer.

Got my first choice! 3 bedroom, cheapest available, haha. Probably made it easier.

Email was also blank but login here and go to app worked.

Really hope I get section 3...can't stand waking up early :(

Can you, like, email them this? Hmm..

The room & board allowance was bumped up to 22,396 (though I don't remember exactly what it was before)
it was $21,720

Also, I randomly submitted a very narrow app (only interested in single-occupancy singles - knew it was a long shot, but thought I'd indicated I wasn't interested in alternatives) and they assigned me to a 3-bedroom in D'Ag. um, thanks? I'll be turning that down stat.

So is it difficult to get singles?

I haven't even received my NETID yet so I can't apply for housing until later next week. Should I expect to be put in a triple?

Last year we got them a few weeks before orientation. Also, enjoy Epstein at 9 AM on Fridays, Section 4.

Hershkoff is essentially a civ pro god. I had Arthur Miller and he's an amazing, inspiring professor (and not as scary as everyone will tell you) but he can be extremely focused on the details, which can make seeing the larger picture confusing. We had Hershkoff as a guest lecturer for one class and she was much easier to follow than Miller. But in either case you're getting an excellent civ pro professor.

Epstein, on the other hand, is a piece of work. Had him for Torts, but I hear his Contracts class is worse. You'll essentially be learning "Richard Epstein's views on Contracts" and not "Contract Law." But you'll be expected to know both the actual black letter law (which he hasn't taught you) and his views for the exam.

Ah! Interesting as in bad interesting..? Also, not that we have any control over which section we're in whatsoever, but what are your thoughts on what the best/worst section might be?
Epstein is polarizing but otherwise that section is incredible. On the other end, it's hard to say b/c a lot of your prof's didn't teach 1Ls last year.
