So, the beer at the barbeque was fantastic.

Thought the same thing. Goodbye, paying for gas all the time.

Fantastic! The currents students I met were all really nice and not half as fratty as I was expecting. Didn't get to talk to many prospectives, unfortunately, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of that tomorrow. Did you make it in town in time to go?

I went to Millers? Just a bar with some pretty good burgers and a decent beer selection.

Trains are very slow. I got in at 7:30 and got to my hotel at 8. I'll be everywhere tomorrow though.

Everyone go to the Biltmore tomorrow night at 9ish!

The more the merrier. There are at least 15 people who said they are going right now in my FB event (a mix of people from TLS and the official UVA group)

I can confirm financial aid was pretty useless. I only went to get two questions answered.

Skipped that one. Heard it was useless.

The Clinic one was pretty good.

Missed that. any good input you could share?

I did think the clerkship session was informative as I knew next to nothing about its importance.

+1 on the clerkships. The general career services presentation with KD was amusing. Geis' mock class was pretty cool. So stoked for August.

Everyone seemed very collegial which was nice. That super high donor rate is something I find attractive and points to what the school provides students. All 4 2l I talked to had SA lined up. Some students seemed a bit on the douchey side and only a hand full seemed pretentious. Most students were down to earth.

Feel bad for the student who asked for "literature to help 'spot issues'" during the open discussion. Also two of our four panelists chose uva or Columbia. Prob bc of $$ but who knows.

Feels good to be the best public law school in the country!!

Whoops, I stayed off TLS and met precisely zero of you.

Fun weekend, though.

You've got two weeks (I put a reminder on my calender so my dumb ass doesn't accidentally miss the deposit date). Are you any closer to deciding? I still have a couple of "if this then this...".
