Re: Houston 2015
This might be a dumb question but I'm trying to access the required reading and such before class and I don't know where to look. I know about peoplesoft but is there some other website I'm missing to access professor syllabi and the required readings?

Re: Houston 2015
I dunno if anyone is gonna see this before Monday but I'll ask anyways:
My Civil Procedure (Crump) book which I bought shrink wrapped is somehow missing its first page. Would anyone be willing to scan page 1&2 and post it?
I would really appreciate it.

One of my professors still hasn't loaded any first day reading assignments or syllabus on the website, or even sent out an email. Do any of y'all have happen?
Anyone in section A happen to have Rachlin for Lawyer Skill and Strategies. I have her in Section C, and since those classes are going to be tiny I figured that it would be harder to find people to work together within each sub-section.

Jimmys: Hmmm I don't have a p. 1 or p. 2 either. First assumed that it was like most books and "really" started on p.3, but it might just be a pretty common glitch in the printing of the newest edition.

Ugh, I know right? Today's assignment was head-inducing - especially the whole "re-read all the relevant appendices" thing.

Re: Houston 2015
Ragazzo teaches my section's Civ pro the readings are by far the most difficult of my classes but he tries to limit it 20-30 pages per class. The issues I am having is he pretty much badgers the person he calls on, he pretty much cuts everyone off mid sentence when they try to answer his question, and occasionally he will ask trick questions that there is no right answer too. I get the socratic method, but his class at times has felt more like a police interrogation. Also, he doesn't allow laptops and refuses to ever repeat himself so it gets annoying when he starts jumping around and saying a bunch of important stuff real fast, but even given all the negatives his class is the most entertaining if your not the one he throws under the spotlight.

Re: Houston 2015
Question for all you guys. I will be coming to Houston this summer for a couple SA positions. I was wondering if anyone in this thread was leaving for the summer and looking to sublet their room?
Also, I have a friend who is also doing the same thing I am, so if anyone has a 2 bedroom or an apartment/home with 2 bedrooms open, that would be amazing.
Anything helps, it is REALLY hard to find an apartment when you are not in the city.
Feel free to PM me if that is better.
Thanks!!
