Yes! I think this programs sounds like it would make the transition to being a law student a little more lax and comfortable. Still waiting to hear from them though, so my fingers are crossed!

I just got my acceptance in the mail. Short turnaround time($1000 non-refundable deposit due March 26). Hoping Fordham throws out an acceptance but otherwise I'll be attending!

Just the call yesterday saying that I'm in! I'm really starting to freak out though because the move is so soon and I'm definitely low on cash! Did anybody who got into the part-time program get a scholarship? Will that info be coming later?

I think that there is no merit based for the May program. I never asked this explicitly, but I know that this was the case for last year's May program. Plus with my LSAT score, I would not expect anything anyway.

I wonder if we should make a facebook group or will Cardozo be making an official one for us since that's what schools usually do.

I am interested in the May program and got waitlisted but am still waiting to hear back. Those of you who already got accepted do you mind if I ask what your LSAT and GPAs were because I have no idea what the averages are for getting accepted for May.

Looks like there is a facebook group for us already. I haven't gotten an official invite by email for it though but requested to join anyway.

I'm coming, but not until the fall. They met me on the scholarship amount I wanted last week, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ASD a few weeks ago. I live here, so I don't have to worry as much about the transitioning part. I plan on kicking back, reading (a LOT since I probably won't be able to read what I want after school starts), and hitting the beach this summer before the fall. Good luck everyone!

P.S. What facebook group?

LSAT 148 (oct 2008) then 158 (oct 2011), LSACGPA 3.08, UGPA 3.34. Got waitlisted for the full-time, elected to be considered for both f/t and p/t, got May p/t last week - attending. Also, I visited Dozo (sent no LOCIs) the week after they waitlisted me. A friend who's going to be a 2L this year got off the waitlist too. She sent multiple LOCIs but said the campus visit is what really made the difference for her acceptance.
