Wow the Kelly property apts are really nice. Does anyone need a roomate? If so I will rent a 2 br and we can split the expenses down the middle. We can get an awsome place for about $400 per month within walking distance to the law school. I am a 22 year old male from NJ. If interested post here and I will contact you. I am going to Fayetteville on April 13th and will sign a lease somewhere. But this is the nicest place I have seen.
I was kind of digging the $340/month studio with the Murphy bed.

I'm not 100% sure, but serious enough I paid my deposit already.

I'm in-state: I live in Little Rock and have good connections here.

Just received my acceptance letter! I'm currently an undergrad (finance) at Fayetteville as well. I just now came across this site so feel free to ask any questions you have about housing, campus, Fayetteville, etc.

Strongly considering Arkansas with the scholarship they offered me. I'm from Texas and I heard that a lot of Arkansas grads end up going to practice in Texas. I should hear back from a couple of schools tomorrow which means Ill send in my deposit on Wednesday before the Friday deadline!

Just visited Fayetteville and put a deposit on a 2 br apartment at The Cliffs. Are you familiar with the development and are there a lot of students there? Really nice and 4 mi to the law school. PM me if you want to get in touch and form a study group with others in the fall. Good luck and go hogs!

It's a nice area, opposite direction of where I lived most of my undergraduate career. Students do live out there, I just don't know many of them. If anyone is planning on looking at similar apartments to The Cliffs then Southern View I & II (Southern View III is more expensive) are good options. They are also closer to Walmart, restaurants, and I-540.

Not exactly getting a ton of communication from the school about what to expect when.

I lived at the cliffs for the last year of my undergrad at the UA. The drive is <10 minutes, and the cliffs has lots of hiking trails (the City of Fayetteville has a park with trails up the back of mount sequoyah about 100 yards away.)

I'm looking forward to meeting you all in august. My name is Asa. I'm a 20 year old economics major originally from Arkansas.

Looks like I'll be moving in around August 1st, Orientation (and legal research and writing) starts on the 13th. To the person with financial aid questions, mine also has not appeared in ISIS yet.

I put down for a deposit at North Creekside apartments. Mixed reviews (but a positive upward trend), regardless they're literally right on the hike/bike trail that leads to campus, have multiple bus stops out front, and were not infested with mice (I saw some horrible things apartment hunting in Fayetteville). Real Estate in Fayetteville is a marvel, and I can have a two bedroom for a jaw-dropping price.

Overall, Fayetteville is a gorgeous city. Lots of trails, lots of hills, and so much GREEN. Everywhere. Apparently the city also experiences actual seasons. I looked at the Cliffs, and they were amazing, but my car is older than Moses at this point and cannot be relied upon to get me to/from campus everyday. They are having/had a vote recently that was aimed to expand the bus routes, and one would hopefully go up to the Cliffs. I do not know if this passed.

To give y'all that have not been to campus a little context: The law school is a building unto itself and is in an oustanding location, right over by the stadium and about 30 feet away from the student union. I took a tour of the facilities and everything looked great. Nice wonderful people in the law admin office, and I could not believe that someone picked up the phone and actually answered my questions in the Registrar's office. This would never happen at my undergrad. Also, coffee shop in the law library. This is my kind of study environment.

Excited to get back into the swing of things! See everyone soon!

Regarding the financial aid questions, a bunch of 1L's and 2L's that I know said theirs didn't post until late June or July. As for the expansion of the bus route, I don't know if the Transit Tax is what they were meaning, but it lost in the election. It's funny you mentioned your car being as old as 'Moses' because there's an individual who is nicknamed 'Moses' that comes to campus and preaches (trolls) to students as they go to and from class. Freshmen always end up debating him and it usually draws a big crowd of spectators.

I'm officially attending Arkansas this fall! For those of you familiar with Fayetteville, do you have any apartment recommendations that I should definitely look at when I come into town?

Thanks!
