Seems a few ED people got small scholarships last year (15k).
I just got my package today in FL.

Ahhh. Wonder if my boss will think going home to check the mail for my acceptance package is a valid excuse to leave work 2 hours early...

Is it me or the wording of the acceptance letter seemed extremely personal. Idk, maybe that's just my love for UChi doing that.

Reading through all of the faculty credentials is pretty mind blowing.

In response to earlier queries, 15k is the standard scholarship for ED admits. It's rent for a year, so...I'll take it please, UChi!

Also got the package today. Loved the faculty profiles/snapshots.

Checking in! Officially settled on Chicago today! Looking forward to meeting everybody at ASW.

BTW: I was in Chicago for New Year's Eve and it was pretty awesome, so I'm so excited to be there next year. :D

Just curious - are there any other ED admits who have yet to receive their admissions package in the mail? Not that it really matters, but I haven't gotten mine yet and I'm excited to go through it.

Edit- hahaha false alarm, it JUST arrived five minutes after my original post.

Wonder when they'll post the dates for the wine messes in March. Sounds like it'll be fun.

There are never any "dates" posted for wine mess. When classes are in session, it's every Friday starting at 3:30.

Not the ones at the school - the "coast to coast" things for admitted students.
Admitted Students Website wrote: During March, the Law School often plans "Wine Messes" (happy hours) for young Chicago Law alumni in various markets. I'm going to tell you all something I wish I'd have given more thought last year. 1L year will be a roller coaster. There have been times when I've felt as down on myself as I ever have and then literally a few days later, after some good news, have been on top of the world. So try to keep perspective.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
