Well, I hope Cornell's image changes to at least more "laid back" student bodyArbiter213 wrote:This will last all of... hmmm, 3 days of class.msblaw89 wrote: Let's change the image of Cornell to be ITHAPAAAARTAY!!!!

Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
it will never be more laid back.
Palms is gone so there isn't an excuse to drink (ruloff's is super lame).
the breakfast sandwiches at ctb suck, i think they use better than eggs or something.
last winter wasn't cold so this one will probably be snowmaggedon.
the medians will only go down, everyone smart enough to bring them up decided to not go to law school.
i look forward to watching all of your souls get slowly crushed.

Pro tip: Get other law students to join an intramural sport with you. this made 1L way more fun for me.

Fair. I guess law school attendance is pretty much the opposite of a 12-step program

Law school actually reigned my drinking in, honestly. It was only my breakup that increased it tenfold.T00L wrote:That's cute.Arbiter213 wrote:T00L wrote:^ for the record. I specified I would be drinking heavily BEFORE the school year. (and a restricted amount during)

Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
has anyone been able to:
1) set up direct deposit for financial aid through the bursar,
or
2) sign the promissory note for a perkins loan?
both are giving me errors still. i intend to call, but shit, i always think to do so sometime after 2pm here in california.

2) I believe on the "how to" financial aid email we got about a month ago it says that the promissory note for the perkins loan won't be available until early August. And, yeah, that they'd email us when it was.

On another note, anyone submitted a photo for their ID? Anyone have any suggestions as to how to do this best? Do we have to do it via the new student 'to do list' thing?

Speaking of the new student 'to do list', how much of that applies to us? I feel like I'm way behind on figuring some of these things out. Obviously most of the deadlines have passed.Chucky21 wrote:

i'm pretty sure all of it does, since we're doing the grad/professional student one. a lot of it is optional, and the rest of it's pretty easy honestly. if you've done all the health forms and such, you're fine. that was the only time-consuming thing on there i thought.Green Glass Windows wrote:Speaking of the new student 'to do list', how much of that applies to us? it's all on there, just login with your net id and go to the checklist, then look at the "Student ID Card Request" part.
