Hey everyone,

Has anyone received an itinerary for this week's ASD? Also for those who went a couple weeks ago, is the "dress code" casual or business casual?

It's very relaxed. I wore jeans with a sweater and a peacoat over it.

I am and the wait is beginning to stress me out

edit: They are probably taking out loans so that they can give me a large amount of money.

I just got a 1BR apartment :) SO EXCITED! Paying more than I wanted to... but it's huge, furnished, free laundry, utilities, snow removal, parking, & pet friendly. You'll all be invited over!!

Also I wore jeans, a tank, and a girly blazer to the ASW.

Also do we just mail the deposit? Is there some form we have to fill out too? I wish we could just pay it online.

How much you'd get it for and where is it? PM if you have to. Also congrats!

I just mailed the deposit. There wasn't an official form to fill out, I just sent a letter with the check to Dean Geiger stating that I accepted their offer etc. They will probably just take my name off the letter and discard of it promptly while ensuring the check makes its way swiftly and surely to the bank.

Deciding between UVA and Cornell. If UVA offers me $$$, I'll go there. If not, I'll be going to Cornell w/ scholarship $$... we shall see what happens!

Yeah, I visited the ASWs at both schools. Believe it or not, I really enjoyed the gloomy/cold weather. I really didn't like the uphills, though with buses all over the place, I don't think that'll be a big issue. I think it's fair to say I'm leaning towards Cornell as well, but if UVA gets back to me this week with $$, I think I'll end up going there. Either way, I just want to make my decision ASAP and get cracking on finding an apt and starting my transition into law school.

Does anyone have any idea how fast Hughes usually fills up? Seeing as I don't have my aid package yet..... I'm not sure what's gonna happen, but I'm afraid it'll be full by the time I finally get around to putting down a deposit.

Yep. :/ I have deposit deadlines coming up at other law schools and it makes it really difficult not knowing how much aid I'll be getting at Cornell.

I was told that there is a chance we will get the financial aid package after the 16th, ridiculous. I might have to put a deposit down for another school

I have a cat in a property managed by PPM Homes, but I'm pretty sure our building is all full for next academic year. I'd recommend calling PPM and all the other property managers, tell them about your situation and budget and ask what they have available.
