I'm having a hell of a time deciding between there and Ivy.

Looking at the map, Ivy/Huntington seems to be within easy walking distance of the law school. I think the commute alone has me leaning pretty convincingly towards Ivy/Huntington.

Perfect. I'm moving to Charlottesville in July and can't get enough of bocce. Probably the perfect activity for some pre-1L day drinking.

I hear that, I had no plans on going to UVA, but I got an application fee waiver and ended up applying on a whim on the last day possible. I didn't realize how much I would love the school, or the town. Now I can't imagine not going to UVA!

Anyone tried calling to set up internet/cable at Ivy yet? Seems they're using a new provider this year and I was wondering what kind of $$$ I should be budgeting for service.

Access Media 3 is SPS. It'll be about 94 dollars for a terrible set of channels and internet that goes in and out.

Ha, about what I was expecting on both counts. Thanks!

If anyone is still looking for apartments, I signed a lease for an Ivy apartment, but I just had to give up my seat at U Va for unforeseen reasons. Looking for someone to transfer year-long lease to which begins on July 20. It's one bedroom with den and balcony. Check out Craigslist link (http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/a ... 45279.html). PM me if interested. I don't mean to spam folks who have already found apartments, but I'd also appreciate any suggestions on where else I can post this listing. Thanks.

It looks like the link was truncated. Try using https://bitly.com to shorten the link. I'll send on to some friends at the business school who are still looking.

Living at the Ivy and went to stop by my 2br apartment when I was in Cville a couple weeks ago. I'm 50% sure I was looking at the right one and it may or may not be mostly underground with basement windows, and nah, that's not all right. Anyone know if it's possible to upgrade?

Hey guys,

Unfortunately, plans have changed for me. I will not be attending UVA. I will be going to a school a little closer to home. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Currently, I have an awesome 1 bedroom in the Ivy by the pool with the laundry facility that is right by the law school up for grabs. PM me if interested.
