Has anyone gotten anything on their UVA email? I finally set mine up, and it is basically empty besides the gmail welcomes messages and and IT thing.

Warning from the police about a suspicious death, that was helpful.

Anyone going to the reception in Richmond this Thursday? Not sure what's going on there, it was pretty vague, but I'll be in town so I'm gonna check it out.

I went to the reception in Arlington and really enjoyed it, both for talking to alumni and meeting future classmates.

Yes it was! It had floor to ceiling windows running the whole length of the banquet room, which was on the 14th floor or something, with an amazing view of the potomac and DC skyline. And it's owned by a UVA alum, so I expect we will be back at some point

Is anyone interested in doing the DC Alumni Reception luncheon? Its $35, which is a little steep seeing as i won't be able to get drunk.
