Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster here wondering if anyone will be in town the week before orientation? I'm moving in next Saturday (the 11th), and don't yet know anyone in Charlottesville. Would any of my fine fellow Cavaliers like to grab a beer or check out the town before we get buried underneath notes and hornbooks?

I should be working on moving into my apartment Saturday and would definitely be up for a beer that night too.Cavalier15 wrote:Hey everyone! Anyone know when financial aid actually starts disbursing? My account said 08/13 for a while and now it says 08/20 so I'm not sure how accurate it is.

For those who buy books from the bookstore, you can charge them to your student account.
Anyone know when they expect tuition to actually be paid if it's coming out of our piggy banks?
Also, do we 1Ls have to register for courses/sections or are they just randomly assigned on orientation day(s)?

1Ls are assigned sections which have completely assigned schedules for fall semester. You should find out your section a few days before orientation.

Re: UVA Class of 2015
My Schedule just came up on lawReg. Will it tell me which section I'm in? Or do I have to figure that out.
Civ Pro:TRF 2:10-3:30 Collins
Contracts: MWR10-11:20 Johnston (new?)
Criminal: MW 3:40-5:00 Bowers
LRW: F: 1-2 Buck
Torts: MTR 8:30-9:50 Duffy
Any recommendations on these professors?

Hey everyone, I'm a georgetown 1l, and my con law professor is coming from UVA; I was wondering if anyone could help me get any past exams that she may have on file? Thanks for any help.

There's no in the online database. Most UVA practice exams are given directly to the students by the professor on a class-by-class basis; there is an online database, but it has comparatively few.hlc03 wrote:Brooks
