A) Professors are, in fact, people who like to have fun too.
B) I'm glad my future classmates aren't the type who spend their St. Patrick's Day on the computer trashing other law school students with stereotypes. If all they do in Cali is think about UVA, I'm that much happier with my decision.

Instead of trying to make this an argument between who is "cool" and who is a "loser," why don't you just sit and ponder for 2 seconds whether showing up drunk and super hung over at ASW is something proper? No one ever said that drinking is bad or having fun is bad or that professors never drink. I just think that joking about showing up drunk at ASW is pretty ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that a lot of other people would agree. Just go look at all the other T-14 forums, is there any other one where people are like, "Haha!!! Omg brah I'm sooo cool cuz I'm gonna get DRUNK AT ASW!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!" I've been drunk tons of times but would I do it during my law school's ASW? No.

Oh and I hate to break it to you but California is 3 hours behind the East Coast. I'm sorry I wasn't shitfaced at 1 PM. I went out that night but only losers start that late, right? I should have set my alarm at 8 AM and started chugging Guinness that moment!

I have a good buddy at berkeley. He was shitfaced at his ASW for CAL and he did fine. He tells me about tons of people going to class at CAL high. I dont hear about that at UVA; to each their own! you dont need to worry about others, sounds like you know what is right for you. So you are okay.

Have a buddy graduating in May in same situation. Taking a year off, which I highly recommended since he was so young lol. But congrats on graduating in 3 years, thats impressive!
