Technical Transactions is an area I am interested in exploring. Does anyone have recommendations for the types of classes that will be useful for this? Currently registering for classes for 2L year.

Do you mean technology transactions, not technical?

Assuming technology, then transactional drafting and any IP classes - patent, copyright, trademarks (probably in that order). Also take general transactional type knowledge classes -- corporations, sec reg, secured transactions, accounting, corporate finance.
