Best Way to Do Research on Damages Comparables?

Post by GreenEggs » Sat Nov 26, 2016 1:00 pm

I'm trying to just find comparable damage awards for specific contexts. Would really appreciate any help or suggestions for doing this. I've spent a ton of time on WestLaw going through Keys for the specific state (but the Keys end up having nothing listed), and I've tried a ton of different searches. I really just want to find how much juries have awarded for let's say, "loss of one eye," "scars as a result of injury," etc.

There's of course a ton of workers' comp litigation so I exclude those with (BUT NOT "workers'"), even then, I can't really find much on actual accounting of damages.

Is there some better way of doing this, or some resource I should use?
