Hey all!
Both my corporate tax and partnership tax finals are open book open notes. My corp tax final is actually take home and open anything (except working with others). I have been preparing for both classes so far by my uses of supplements (Black Letter Outline by Schwartz and the Corp tax E&E). Wouldn't have understood shit without them actually tbh.
I was wondering if anyone had any other supplements suggestions, online checklists, or online outlines I can use to supplement my outline and understanding.

Luckily for me, that's my textbook for one of the classes!MCFC wrote:Maybe it goes without saying, but The Logic of Subchapter K.

I guess either no one is taking these courses or there really aren't that many supplements out there other than the ones I mentioned.
For people taking one or both courses in the future, I can't say enough good things about the Corporate and Partnership Taxation Black Letter Outline by Schwartz. If you ever feel lost in your class (like I did), this book is the real MVP.

Re: Corporate Tax and Partnership Tax Supplements
I'd found the E&Es to generally be the most useful supplements for me when I was taking these classes.
People sometimes cite Lexis's Graduate Tax Series hornbooks as useful resources, though they do go into the subjects in considerably greater depth than the E&Es. I haven't used any of them, so I couldn't speak from personal experience.

I used the E&Es for both classes. I found them helpful.
