Just saw this come up on Facebook.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea and it's free.

Anyone use this/heard anything about it or have experience with it?

I'm at 1L at NYU and I use it. Like you said, it's free, which is pretty cool considering how much law schools cost at the T14. Beats carrying my case books back and forth to class in the snow since you can just view your cases through the app matched up with the professors' syllabuses automatically...

It can do other stuff I think, but I just use it for cases so I can't comment about the other features like arranging interviews with firms (saw that on Facebook too).

Couple of Northwestern students started it when I was a 1L here. It's handy to cut down on how often you carry a casebook around, but also doesn't have all the notes and shit between cases. Some profs love to use note cases.

I am a 1L at UChicago and use it. I like it because it helps you avoid having to carry around a bunch of humongous case books around all the time. They also have a career application that is pretty cool as well. Makes it easy to search for firms and see the essential info about them.

I'm a 1L at Berkeley and I used it so I didn't have to carry my books around all the time. It's actually SUPER helpful for case briefing and sharing notes.

Also, the MOST useful thing is the career app. I know a few students who got firm interviews in the past few weeks through the app. Definitely check it out and get a leg up!

Hello soon-to-be 1Ls!

As a current rep for LearnLeo, I wanted to let you all know that they are looking for 1L reps for the top 20 law schools! It's a great way to make some extra money for just a few hours of work (5-10 hours for the semester).

If you're interested, shoot an email to contact@learnleo.com. Include your résumé, three reasons why you would make an awesome rep, and the name of the law school you'll be attending in the fall!

It's OK for compiling points of law from each case you read. That'll help you build your outline later. That's as far as I went with it. It's basically a nice backup when you don't want to carry around your textbook. They won't have every case and/or some that are excerpted in the text might not be formatted the same way on LearnLeo.

It's fine for some elements to build an outline as mentioned above. LOL at these 1-post account shills though.
