This only works if you are naturally good at law school exams. Like 80% of the class isn't.ymmv wrote:Nah bro this is universal truth.checkers wrote:Relevant usernameymmv wrote:Skip class all semester. Read E&E and past outlines over Thanksgiving break. Profit.

Right, I left out the step of practice exams. One a day during study period, two if gunning for A+.Desert Fox wrote:This only works if you are naturally good at law school exams. I had a friend who studied 18 hours a day Nov-Test. No joke. Got straight Bs.

This is credited.
If you do really well on exams, you risk getting biglaw, which will really screw you up.

So we shouldn't slack off and study even though it might not matter if we're not naturally good at law school exams? What are you getting at?

Even if you suck, the difference between slacker and over studier is the different between worst in the class and bottom third.CardozoLaw09 wrote:So we shouldn't slack off and study even though it might not matter if we're not naturally good at law school exams? What are you getting at?

Probably not, no. But if he had studied 12 hours a day it could have been worse. He didn't get any B- and that is probably because all teh studing.Nekrowizard wrote:Do you think it would've helped him all that much to study 18 hours a day Aug-Test?Desert Fox wrote:I had a friend who studied 18 hours a day Nov-Test. I'd guestimate study amount can push you like +/- 25%iles.Nekrowizard wrote:So the moral here is that if you're naturally talented, sweet, but if you're not, studying will provide marginal improvement at best?
