Thank you so much for posting this, it is much easier than going through pages and pages of old supplement threads

Getting To Maybe: How to Excel on Law School Exams https://www.amazon.com/dp/0890897603/re ... Qub06SRN8H

I bought it but have not yet read it.
Yes. Definitely read Getting to Maybe. That is probably the single most important supplement. It gives you a great framework to approach exams from and what is expected from you in exams isn't really intuitive and isn't really explained to you that well in actual law school classes. IMO, Getting to Maybe fills that gap very well. There are some valid criticisms of it. The approach it pushes doesn't necessarily work for every professor. But definitely well worth reading.

Along a sort of similar vein, I also recommend The Legal Analyst: A Toolkit for Thinking about the Law. The Legal Analyst deals more with the underlying policy considerations behind the law and in my view, it provides a great foundation for everything you study in law school. It is also just a plain interesting book. I'd probably just recommend it to anybody, whether they're considering law school or not.

Most people recommend reading Getting to Maybe before law school. That makes good sense in terms of time management- you won't have much free time during law school. But, personally, I actually recommend reading The Legal Analyst before law school and then reading Getting to Maybe a month or two into law school, maybe even after you've taken a very early practice exam. In my view, it is more useful once you have a bit of an understanding of what's what.

I don't have good recommendations for either of these. Does anybody else? If so, I'll add them to the list.

I made some updates to the site. Added links to practice exams for each course, reorganized the site a bit and updated editions to the latest.

More suggestions most welcome. I'm thinking about what other courses I should add. Family law maybe? Securities regulation? Does anybody have supplements they liked for either of those?

I thought Lexis Q&A was great for Civ Pro, Torts, Con Law, and Contracts.

Yeah, I love the Q&A series. They're actually kind of fun and you can cover a lot of ground quickly in that format.

I listed the Q&A for CivPro, Torts and Contracts, but not for Con Law. I don't think I used it in Con Law. It's good? Should I add it for con law?

I updated the list for 2017.

I'm a few years out of law school now, so any help with new supplements that are useful would be awesome. All recommendations for things to add to the list are most welcome.
