Would it be a dumb idea to transfer from a TTTT in SoFla to a T-14 in the Northeast with the intentions of returning to SoFla to practice Big Law?
The school I attend places <1% of grads in BigLaw. I am ranked top %1 and want to transfer to a T-14 in order to have a better chance with the firms down here Miami for employment.
Will hiring partners look down on me for leaving FL during OCI 2L or after graduation?

Transfer. Bid Florida, mass mail in Florida, and bid NYC heavily for everything else. (Obviously make your top bids NYC bc fewer will be bidding highly on Florida).

transfer, if FL doesn't work out right away, try other markets as well, Birmingham, ATL, etc. Then, maybe get back to FL in a few years. Definitely better than having no job.
