Federal Income Tax Supplement- Okay to use older edition?
Was thinking of buying a supp for fed income tax, the newer version was released in 2011 and the older, which I planned on getting is from 2008---will this be fine? Also, does anyone have an outlined keyed to the Bankman text that you would like to share?

Bump.
Also, anyone know of a multiple choice supplement. The only Q&A book I could find was published in 2001, which I assume would be worthless now; right?

Which supplement? I'd imagine Chirelstein's would be OK as it isn't super in-depth. I used that supplement and it was helpful for understanding the concepts.
I'm racking my brain to think about what the changes were since 2008 that would matter for a Tax I class...

I was talking about the E & E- I bought the older version, which I should receive any day now. Hopefully it will be okay.

I used an old version and did just fine. There are minor changes in the law but the majority is still the same.

You can use an older edition but you'll probably get audited
