For me it was a year after UG. Then it depended on my LSAT result.

I spent most of my life trying not to become a lawyer. I was spawned from two lawyers and felt like it was too obvious a fate.

Things were going kind-of-O.K. through the first half of college. Studying for an organic chemistry exam my Junior year I learned that major, ECs, etc. didn't matter at all for law school. I immediately dropped my science degree, majored in art, graduated a semester early, and proceeded to fulfill the prophecy.

Isn't assuming that everyone who decided to go to LS in or before college did so without a break after college, like, an amateur hour LSAT logic mistake?

Ever since high school. Never considered taking a break in-between college and law school. Except for the bar 3L is pretty close to having a nice long break.
