I hear that brother. Law school is the pits.
I'm reminded of advice I gave to a new 1L. He was moving in while I was going through OCI, and he asked me while we crossed paths if I had any advice for him:

Any thoughts (pros/cons regarding stress management, etc) on quitting smoking while prepping for finals? I'm a half pack (+) a day, ten year smoker. I've "quit" several times over that period but haven't been able to stick to it. I've started thinking about the habit recently and it frustrates me that I even started (more so than in the past).
Any input from former smokers who went cold turkey is especially appreciated; I've tried the gum and it just doesn't do it for me. I honestly want to knock this shit off.
TSL: I'll delete this if it isn't the type of question you want discussed in your thread.

That seems insane. I imagine stress would be a trigger and quitting is something that would be difficult in its own right - why make life harder during what is likely to be a very stressful time? Maybe plan to do it during winter break?

It's insane how long outlining a couple week's worth of notes takes me.

Just got my practice Contracts final back and I bombed it. We didn't get a grade, but the professor said that most people gave good answers to the questions and that they were along the lines of the model answers he was looking for. My answers were completely different. He didn't mention any of things that I mentioned in my exam. I think I am doing fine in my other classes, but I could see myself getting one of the worst grades in the class in K. I need a hug real bad.

On the plus side, it's great that you know this now and have a chance to fix the problem without having suffered any consequence. Figure out why you addressed the issues differently and rock the final.
Thank you. You are right. I have been trying to tell myself that it is an opportunity to improve for the final, but I think I need a day or so to shake off the fear his feedback induced. That gif actually made me feel a lot better.

Yeah look at it as an opportunity Rogers. Better to find out where improvement is needed now than later.

Thanks, guys. I slept off the fear and I am feeling better. It's nice to have this place to retreat to. I am going to check in with my prof to see where I went wrong and how I can improve for the final.

Absolutely a great idea. I made a point to go see all my professors over the last few weeks, some are more helpful than others, but all gave some great insights and relieved a bit of stress.

Thanks man...though I don't know what CSWS means.
Just did this practice hypo for crim law. Holy shit I don't know what I'm doing. I have no outline or anything, so I'm not stressing about it, but I'm not looking forward to getting it back all marked up. All we had to do was analyze charges/defenses for one incident (MPC only), I feel like there was no real forks to be found, but I know there was shit I missed. Fuck it.
