Still waiting on my results, but nice to see where the average scores fell.

Obviously, IL wants me to murder someone. I was having heart palpitations as I opened that email thinking it was bar results.

My Illinois friends: remember that in July 2012, 87% of first-time bar exam takers passed the bar exam. Knowing that they postponed raising the point threshold until 2015, do you honestly think you are among the unhappy 13%? Think about the people who didn't take a prep course, didn't study very often, half-assed law school, totally blanked on sections of the exam, etc.

I think you will all be fine.

Unfortunately, while I would like to agree with this, I caught a long lasting case of the crazies during bar prep which I think negatively impacted my ability to study.

Graduates of my school regularly have a first-time bar passage rate in my state of over 90%. I graduated in the top 15% of my class. I am still pretty horrified that I failed the bar exam. Irrational or cautiously realistic?

I fucking hate this waiting game.
