There are so many exceptions and I'm really having trouble getting it to stick.

EDIT: fixed a great typo

Only ones that I can remember are

(1) Prop 8 allows witnesses' credibility to be bolstered for before they have been impeached;
(2) Prop 8 might make evidence of withdrawn guilty pleas admissible, though it isn't clear; and
(3) extrinsic evidence is admissible for impeachment for crimes of moral turpitude AND specific instances of misconduct/lying in criminal cases (under Fed Rules, can only use EE for prior convictions).

Have a feeling I missed a few, though

I really wish this could just be over with after tomorrow...

see you all at Santa Clara Convention center land tomorrow. I'm a local so if any people not from the area have any questions regarding where to go to eat/get drunk, let me know and I can point you in some good directions.

At least you guys probably finished. I did not finish by a wide margin. I cannot believe this is happening.

I bombed that PT too. Literally everyone I talked to or overheard at my test center said they also bombed it. That was brutal, but they can't fail all of us.

Know people who have passed who didn't come close to finishing a PT. Hopefully, the next PT won't be nearly as hard.

I actually panicked. And stopped writing for ten minutes. And couldn't figure out the laws. That was absolutely horrible.

Think there's any chance they'll be like, "whoops, our bad. That one doesn't count"

Focusing on the future rather than the past:

Any guesses for subjects on third day?

Anything but civ pro is ok by me. If this is the first year they test it three years in a row, I might walk out.

1) I'm almost positive that one essay will be W&T. The other two will hopefully be MBE subjects.

2) LJL at the people wearing their law school sweatshirts.

I'm planning on doubling down on W&T, Contracts, Real Property, and having a solid grasp of remedies in the event it appears as a crossover. Fuck corps, fuck A&P, and most definitely fuck civ pro.

The easiest to guess were PR and Con Law, and we got those today. Community Property had also looked pretty likely.

I feel like we'll get Wills/Trusts with either a Remedies or PR crossover, Real Property, and either Evidence (probably CA distinctions) or Contracts.

I think this quote from my buddy about sums it up:

"I have t cried in about ten years. Today, I got there"
