Damn. Priceline to get a non-horribly priced last minute flight? Or even horribly priced it might be better than our nonrefundable bar exam fees.

$$ is no object. No flights to buy seats on.

Where are you trying to get from/to? Good luck dude, that sucks.

From CO. Flights keep getting canceled. Couldn't even drive to Utah and get on a flight from there.

Emma, I'd just go to the airport now, and start calling each airline seeing if they can get you a one way ticket there. Also consider going to a nearby airport and renting a car.

Thanks. Been at airport for 6 hours of constant scrambling. Not in the best state of mind right now.

If money is no object, you could consider hiring a private pilot to fly you out in a cessna or something

Do you have a firm job? If so, get their travel people on it. I realize you probably thought of this. The firm is just as invested in you getting to the exam as you are.

Good luck.

Kayak says there's a 5:30 on Delta from Colorado Springs, if you can get down there from DIA.

Good luck, dude.

Thanks for help, guys. I'm not close enough to DIA for most of those options, but they think they can now get me in to SJC around midnight. Not getting much sleep tonight.

If you're taking in Santa Clara and you have a car, I'll pay for your lunch if I can hitch a ride to in and out during lunch.

Good news! If you miss your connection there, just use the list I sent you to find something else. Frontier, Southwest, and United all have late flights to Northern Cal.

Those taking in Santa Clara be warned: the hotel parking garage may be backed up at the end of day one. I sat for approx 1.5 hours trying to get out on Day 1. Not good when u just want to go sleep. Day 2 I finished MBE early, so no problem. Day 3 I was just stoked to be finished, so don't remember the traffic.

There's an amusement park close to the testing site. Thinking of hitting up the roller coaster in between sections.

Best of luck Emma.

Anyone planning on bringing cell phones? I'm being picked up and dropped off by my wife and not sure how to communicate with her otherwise?

I guess maybe email via laptop since we'll have wifi?

Parking lot issues for lunch, too? Or just end of day?

How early do you recommend that I arrive to get to the testing hall by 8:20?

Word of advice: bring cooler full of goodies, particularly for day 3.

I don't recall much difficulty getting in and getting a space. I arrived fairly late on the first day and still got a spot on the garage roof. Getting out was a nightmare.

Try to get there by 8:00 I guess. That conference center is fairly large and tricky to navigate. You will probably have to stand in line for a while to get checked in.

Can someone explain when we're supposed to apply CA law and when federal? Obviously if the question specifies you follow that, but if the question is silent do you apply only federal and ignore CA (especially for evidence, PR, and Civ Pro).

Thanks much, and good luck to everyone tomorrow!

PS to the person a couple above me asking about what time to arrive @ Santa Clara - I popped by the convention center today and it looks pretty to easy to get to your actual room, but the parking might be a problem (I'll be taking a cab). I imagine you'd be fine if you got there at 8:15, but I'm playing it safe and getting there by 8. Not a day to take risks.

Don't forget to write "applicant" on your PTs. Not a huge deal but I think I wrote my real name on one of mine.

Torts: What's the solution where there are two fires that go toward same house, merge into one and burn house? Who's liable? Keep forgetting how to resolve that.

I'm guessing causation would be based on substantial factor rather than causation but for? And then both Ds would be jointly and severally liable?

Don't make me review freakin' torts here. I'm supposed to be a strong, independent woman who don't need no man for the bar.
