Of everything on the bar exam, the transactional MPT surprised me the most.

I did too, I had a scary line of D's actually made me change at least one of them because of the number. I think mine were in the third row of the second hundred, if anyone had the same test format as me.

Did anyone else feel like Barbri really missed the mark on the MBE?

Thank you. Thank you so much.

Same letter, same spot. Also changed at least one of them.

Afternoon section, answer column 4. 11 of the 20 questions I had D with a string of 7 or 8. Ended up having 26 D's on the test, only four of which were in the first 40 questions.

Same here. I had form 15 in the afternoon. Much better than whatever I had in the morning, but still sucked. I used PMBR, and this was much harder than that as well.

Barbri was an absolute joke, MBE is evidence of that. I'm guilty of falling for their shit but fool me once...

I thought the questions were very similar to BarBri (i.e. hard and with a lot of tricks; saw the same wording all over the place too). Also, swore I saw a question on the actual bar that I saw in a BarBri set, but I was likely hallucinating at that point.

Found that the morning MUCH harder than the afternoon; although afternoon was far from easy. Double 15's.

Oh, I liked BarBri too. I just personally am horrible at MC, and no matter what BarBri did was going to save that.

My afternoon seemed quite a bit smoother for some reason. Probably nothing but a bad sign

Pretty sure no duty. Also pretty sure that I have no clue what I'm talking about

Oh, and now I have to go take NJ tomorrow without having prepped for their essays at all. Wonderful.

Felt like i was guessing on most of those questions.

I went into the MBE feeling pretty good as I was hitting anywhere from 70-90% on the practice sets. I feel like if I got 60 questionright total, it will be a small miracle. Don't know if it was barbri or if I did something wrong during my prep (overstudied/didn't study right etc)

Just extremely ticked when I think about all the work I spent studying, and to feel like it made absolutely no difference whatsoever.

I don't want to be the goody two shoes here but I think we aren't supposed to discuss the specific questions. Not that I care, but internet stuff stays is all I'm saying.

Other comments:

I had massive strings for all letters at various points. To those who had A TON of Ds at the end of the afternoon, I'm right there too so I think that is a good sign. I agree with whoever said you choose the best answer and then realize its the same as the last 6 and just go "FUUUUUUU"

I also feel like that was harder than the released NCBE tests, but I'm willing to bet it wasn't. Here is my reasoning: 1) you feel like there were more you guessed on because you did so many questions at once; 2) you can't check after 25 questions to verify you only missed a few; 3) the NCBE tests have an average scale of 140 which, with a 10-15 point scale is exactly the raw that Barbri says to expect on the real thing as an average; 4) you agonize over the ones you don't know instead of just choosing your best answer and moving on. I noticed this because I was behind on time both sessions even though I finished early on practices. This was clearly because I was spending more time on the hard ones and not letting go. My last 15 questions felt much better because they were more like practices where I just chose the best one and moved on. I may have missed some, but I feel better about my performance because I'm ignorant of any mistakes. Finally, the experimental ones are more likely to be weird so you feel less certain. After all 5% of the questions is not an insignificant amount if they confuse you.
