Did anyone file a claim in the LCD case?
Did anyone file a claim in the LCD class action? It pays out cash for laptops, tvs and monitors bought between '99 and '06. The deadline to file a claim was December 6, 2012. I know a lawyer looking for people who filed and who might be interested in having their name on a motion being filed in that case. It wouldn't be a big time commitment and would look really cool on your resume!!

So the claim is that being named in some sort of motion in a class-action case (but presumably not involved in the actual drafting or filing or arguing, etc.) would look "cool" on a resume? This requires several assumptions, but I'd like to focus on the assumption that this is the sort of thing that would actually appear on a resume, ever. Frankly, I don't buy it.

Ok so maybe not resume material. At least something cool to talk about. But maybe I'm wrong... Still looking for people though! Thanks!

Oh so you're soliciting representative plaintiffs so "your friend" (employer) can make money? I see.

Right... because with 639 posts on this site you are clearly opposed to the idea of lawyers making money.NotMyRealName09 wrote:Oh so you're soliciting representative plaintiffs so "your friend" (employer) can make money? I see.

The issue here isn't that anyone is opposed to you employer making money. The issue is your jackassed way of doing that implies we're idiots.jbry318 wrote:Right... because with 639 posts on this site you are clearly opposed to the idea of lawyers making money.NotMyRealName09 wrote:Oh so you're soliciting representative plaintiffs so "your friend" (employer) can make money? I read this as an LSD case, and I got super excited. Then super disappointed.
