keyboard shortcuts

Post by hortonwho87 » Sun Nov 25, 2012 3:22 pm

I've been using a shortcut for the section symbol (typing in "s" three times) and it's been really handy. Anyone have any other useful keyboard shortcuts? I'm asking for exam/class note-taking purposes.

You can make anything you want into a shortcut. Edit the Autocorrect options in Word. You can make any set of keystrokes turn into something else.

For Defendant - type "def" to get ∆

For Contract - type "K"

If anyone is unsure how to create these "shortcuts" in OneNote, go to:

File
Options
Proofing
Auto Correct Options
(if you want to replace text with a symbol, find the symbol in Word. Then, copy and paste it in the auto correct field)

Anyone know a short cut to move between the quick access tabs (e.g. "File" "Home" "Insert") at the top of the screen in OneNote (without using the mouse)?
