So im in my undergrad and there is an undergrad moot competition coming up. The case is very short about 10 pages in length for the appellant and the respondent. However, when I search the case up on a legal case website, I found the exact same case with the full arguments made by BOTH SIDES including the judgement which is around 50 pages. My question is why would they use a case that already exists which students can research and copy and use as their argument? The judges are lawyers working at top firms so I feel like they would know about this. Any advice?
