writing a paper and, how do i use infra?

i already 'explained' a law for a particular section

im gonna reuse the 'explanation' and we dont have to be repetitive and write it all over again and just go to analysis.

I think you're mean "supra." Supra is a cross-reference to a prior page, "infra" is a cross reference to a later page. And you should just say something along the lines of: See the discussion, supra at 12.

Generally speaking, don't try and get cute with "infra" and "supra" in a brief/research memo unless your professor has explicitly said it is okay to use such terms.

Based on your question, it seems like you might have an organizational problem. If you are relying on the same "E" for a different part of the argument, why not incorporate both arguments in the same "A" under that "E"?

Obviously, this all depends on your professor. Email and ask if you're confused, but the consistent advice you're going to get is to avoid using law school derp terms.

Seminar paper or LRW paper? If former, check out Blue Book R. 3.5 and R 4.2. If LRW paper, take the advice from the above poster.
