Pick a topic for my Civ Pro paper

Looking for a fun and exciting paper topic for Civ Pro.

Sooo.... has anything cool happened the past few years or so regarding the federal rules of civil procedure??

I could write about,

-how a rule has been applied in two or three different courts in one particular kind of fact scenario

-how a rule has been applied inconsistently in a couple of different influential courts;

-a federal circuit split on the correct way to interpret a rule

-how an old version of a rule has been applied in a particular court at one point in time and then at how a revised version of the rule has been later applied by the same court.

-----------

Where am I even supposed to find stories on this shit? Some Civ Pro blog or somthing?

Thanks TLS!

Seems to be the thought process of legal academics for the past 3 years.

I'm willing to bet Nova is in my Civ Pro class. I am also working on this paper and I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to pick a topic I don't know much about but am very interested in.

So does anyone have any thought about Civ Procedure issues in the IP field (either patents or soft IP)?

If I can't come up with anything more interesting I'll probably just write about the sufficiency of electronic notice.

Thanks!

Lol I do like Civ Pro but I wouldn't say I am all that interested in it but we have to write the paper on a procedural issue. I'm just thinking I can combine it with something that I am interested in (which is IP).
