CSWS'ers, I wanted to bring your attention to this great thread on TLS for law students struggling with depression, anxiety, etc.:viewtopic.php?f=3&t=184797
GRIND away, but remember to take care of yourselves, bros.
Good post, PL.
Personally, I'm worried about the possibility of burning out. Wasn't an issue last semester, but this semester is different. My classmates seem to be feeling it, as well. Between classes, briefs, final exams looming in the not-so-distant future and the job search, our plates are full.
I'm a little worried too, since this semester is worth a lot more credits.
On the bright side, at least the uncertainty of fall semester is gone--I know where I stand, what works, what doesn't etc. On top of a personal tragedy in November (discussed in that thread I posted), throughout the semester my low self-esteem was kicked into overdrive. Upon hearing the eloquent things my classmates said in class, I thought I was not smart enough to be here and could not possibly compete with them. I was beset with a ridiculous amount of insecurity. Now I know that even though I went to an undergrad no one's heard of and got a 164 on the LSAT, I am just as capable of the folks here who went to HYPS etc. undergrad with 170+ LSATs.
