Alright bros, I sent it by .htm by accident. My bad. I'm sure you can figure it out.

Do not forget. You're not in this to "get to maybe." Maybe I refuse to be fucking medianpwned. You're in this to get to cake. How do you get to cake? CSWS, baby.

Anyway, finishing up supplements tonight and tomorrow. This week: LEEWS aced, future estates aced, hypos, outline memorization, and fucking LRW. I'm gonna beast this shit.

Checking out. 1, word.

Checking in to join the solidarity. Finished two of my three outlines, trying to get the third finished by Tuesday. Stay strong brothers.

(That torts flowchart does sound enticing if someone would be so kind)

I send that torts flowchart help! I keep getting mixed up, and sometimes pick the wrong elements necessary for whatever part of duty, breach, cause, and damages we're talking about in class...frustrating.

I'm hoping to be finished with all of the readings, as well as LRW, by this time next Sunday, at the latest. After that, I'm going to outline everything, supplementing with the E&Es for K and Torts, and then start studying and taking practice exams (where possible).

If you guys could give me a rough idea of how well / far behind I am, I'd appreciate it. CSWS

I think if you are done with everything else by next sunday you are good. I mean, most people at my school havent finished all their outlines (for all I know many havent started) but its not something we really talk about

My contracts put on a panel with top students last year. Half didn't start outlining til Thanksgiving or later.

I also attended a panel and some of the students who did really well only started around Thanksgiving. Most said they only finished their outlines 4-5 days before the finals. Also, one person didn't even create her own outlines. It definitely made me feel better!

It shouldn't make you feel better. They are exceptions and you don't possess the same abilities as them. Do what works for you, be honest, and work hard. Don't take any chances.

Eh, to an extent I agree, but I'm also pretty convinced that there are a LOT of 'exceptions' on both sides (underperforming AND overperforming).

That was my strategy on the LSAT, brute force that shit. It paid off for me.

It's easy enough to learn the material, much harder to learn how to take exams though. I only have one true issue spotter this semester, Torts. My contracts exam is half MC and half essay. I don't know what to do for Civ Pro, and Conlaw is a take home.

I have one issue spotter, one MC/essay, and one that's like "Reasonableness. Discuss" :?

Minnbills, what do you mean "you don't know what to do for Civ Pro"?

I just don't understand what I'm expected to do. Our prof hasn't discussed the exam yet, though there is one up online.

For example, one portion of the exam is a long hypo (reads like a torts issue spotter) and then a few questions asking something like: --
- "what are the procedural issues party A is likely to face?"
- "Predict and analyze any claims that any of the defendants might bring as part of litigation with A."
-"Also consider the impact if A settles any of the claims."

I don't know if I'm supposed to just march through a lawsuit, or what.

I'd ask your professor if they'd go over your responses to the available exam. I imagine they would.

ETA: Mine were willing. I know of other posters (who recommended I do that) who also had success asking

I think that is just the Civ Pro version of an issue spotter.

Yeah that's what I figured, but I still don't understand it.

Are you guys practicing using only full exams or are you also using shorter questions like the ones in the E&Es?
