Bro helped me out in Ks last semester. His exams were a joke compared to our profs but they were good practice anyway.Jsa725 wrote:oh for those in conlaw and K's

Spring break is over, and it's crunch time, therefore time to check back into this thread. Got all of This Week's Reading done over break and got 2/3 classes outlines up-to-date. Working on all my research for brief this week. Also, legal research final on Friday but it is lol1credit so not going to sink too much time on it.

Made a minor dent in my crim outline today. But really, all I learned was that my CB is fucking awful and that I'll need to rely on Dressler to save me.

That's the impression I'm getting as well. I hope it stays that way. If so, my minimal effort will trump their even more minimal effort.Nelson wrote:My entire section seems to be in complete IDGAF mode these days. LOL. I did. And as I predicted at the time, that's still all I've done. You've blown past me pretty quickly. My goal is to have all four outlines legitimately started by the end of Spring Break.Bronck wrote:But... - Your goal is less ambitious than mine
- Because you did better than me last semester, your goal can't be all that bad
- Hmm, maybe I should tone down my goal now

There's a lot less visible grinding this semester but I think it's because most of us know that classes and casebooks are total flame and that we'll all end up learning everything out of a supplement in the last two weeks anyway.Bronck wrote:That's the impression I'm getting as well. Feeling real solid today. Pushing 12 hour days into these outlines. Hopefully done by next week. Finish GTM and final supplements in two weeks. Then, 4 weeks for only PTs, E&E problems, and memorization. Let's go team!
Edit: Oh, and Bronck -- I'm using your outlining method for Civ Pro this semester. Seems solid.

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
Alright, Spring Break is over for me as well so time to get plugged back into this thread. Hate to say it, but every 30 minutes in the library feels like 2 hours (not in how much work I get done... instead how badly I want to leave). I'm having to mix up the study locations so I don't burn out. WE'RE SO CLOSE TO DONE.
I was able to land a firm job over break and am done with legal writing so ready to CSWS. Side note: anyone feel like their eyesight has gotten terrible since starting law school?
I feel pretty good about most of my classes, but after each Con Law class its like I got hit by a train. Absolutely miserable. The prof is really smart (surprise) and funny but he is all over the place and I have no idea what's going on. I have the Chem supplement and spend more time on this class than any other with less to show for it. I've snagged an outline randomly from a student who got an A from the same prof while at another school and class is basically the same (this prof hasn't taught the class at my school) so I think that's a distinct advantage. Any advice on whether I should ditch the readings and instead just focus on getting the main ideas from Chem and studying that outline (its like 100 pages, so like a mini treatise)?
I'm hesitant, but if you guys think its a good idea then I'm all in.
