Monday's are brutal. I have class from 10:30 - 9, with just enough time between for lunch, reading, and dinner. Got introduced to my new friends mens rea today. She is kinda rude, but I will crack her shell sooner or later!

So I'm slowly going through and writing out each E&E problem. It takes a while but my legal reasoning skills are dramatically improving. Worth my time?

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
I like to do E&E problems once or twice in the relevant sections throughout the semester. I use it mainly to practice formatting my responses and getting familiar with applying the issues. It is more of a going through the motions thing for me to stay in the zone.LetsGoLAW wrote:So I'm slowly going through and writing out each E&E problem. I don't see how it hurts. It is providing returns for your time by allowing drastic improvement in legal reasoning, which is what is going to help you crush in a couple of months. Seems like time well spent, unless you find something else that takes less time and provides equal returns.LetsGoLAW wrote:So I'm slowly going through and writing out each E&E problem. I'm going to email my writing professor to tell her that the opposing party and myself have come to a settlement agreement and that writing this brief will therefore be unnecessary. Chances of success?

I think I'm going to raise the CSWS flag soon and call for an all-out grind. I'm feeling that A-Team mentality creep up on me.

Right now I am drafting in the front-middle of the pack, conserving energy, so when the others begin to falter I sprint past them to take the ribbon.

Just to the tune of a few hundred Gs to work at a shitlaw shingle hanging firm or doc monkeying boiler basements.
