FINISHED!!! Whew.
pounded out 7,500 words in 4 hours on my torts exam. Average seems to be about 5,000. Hopefully everything I wrote wasnt incoherent nonsense.
Good luck everyone still testing!!
See ya in the waiting thread!!

Absolutely concerned that everything I wrote for my torts exam was a bunch of misspelled incoherent nonsense. FUCK.

Compare the insanity at the beginning of this thread to now. Haha. The last one is always the worst. I just want to be free and party.

On my torts exam, I ran the character check and the word count, and came out to about 6.5 words per character (examsoft counts spaces). Most general character per words estimates hit about 4.5, but they don't count spaces. That puts you between 6500 and 7500 words.minnbills wrote:I had spellcheck. Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
yeah it is. I just took the character count and googled average characters per words and went from there.shredderrrrrr wrote:"Estimating" 10,700? That's an odd number to estimate.minnbills wrote:Finished Torts!! All done!!
I focused on hitting as many issues as possible rather than talking at length about fewer things. I'm hoping that pays off for me. There's no word counter on my software but I estimated about 10,700 . Don't know if that's a lot or a little.
I'm hoping I did well on this one, I'm feeling pretty good about it.
Congrats to all of you!

Dooooooooooooone.
Feels good, man.
Edit- To boot, I think I did well on the last exam and everyone came out complaining about how hard it was...so that feels good for curve purposes.

Yeah, thats how I felt about my last one. Just trying not to get too excited because it definitely makes me feel like I missed a few things.Doorkeeper wrote:Dooooooooooooone.

But I'm not even stressing about it now because I'm done, and you shouldn't either.

Lol, poor 1Ls, little do they know that if you feel good about an exam, while everyone else complains, it most likely, but not definitely, means that you did not spot the issues your classmates did.Doorkeeper wrote:Dooooooooooooone.

Little secret: generally, law school exams are meant to make you feel terrible afterwards, because most of the issues should have been close and could be argued both ways.
