Just got an invite to a study group. Y/N? Any CSWS'ers have experience with one? I on and off studied with other folks during reading days (reviewing outlines, going over hypos) but nothing formal last semester. This semester is much harder though (more credits, more difficult BLL).

My study group last semester was my girlfriend at the time and another ally. We shared everything. Since me and that gf broke up over the break, my study group is down to just two.

Me and my ally havnt really studied together this semester yet. Right now we just keep up with what each other are doing, and encourage/hold each other accountable. We will be collaborating a lot more soon, now that we have enough material to start syntheising. Basically we get together to OL, go over OLs, visit profs, and go over PTs.

I would recommend finding friends to study with who
1. you like
2a. are dedicated but dont "get it" as well as you. These people can be great sound boards. By helping them understand, your understanding will improve too.
2b. understand the material better than you. These people are great for bouncing ideas off of and can really help you fill in your gaps.

I think its important to always have a purpose for meeting with a study group. Group studying can easily become an inefficient time sink. In my experience, the more people, the less efficient. 2-3 total has worked best for me.

ours is curved but it is a higher curve than our doctrinal classes

It was implied, my school has a curved LRW. Professor said 3 make an A, 5 make an A-, 9 make a B+, which is the median, 5 make a B, and 3 make a B-. Give or take because there are 26 of us.

i felt the same way. i didn't feel like my exams were that special; i just didn't implode.

I booked Property by using Sprankling, and we had the same casebook. Sprankling did a fantastic job of clearly laying out the BLL.

lol, we get like 15-20 people on call every class in Con. Both of mine have been one question calls but a couple people always get absolutely fucked.
