Best method to prep for class/notes?

Postby justicenow1 » Sat Oct 20, 2012 11:37 am

Hello TLS,

I am a current 1L and just had a question regarding the best method for note taking in class. Most of my classmates bring their laptops, but I do not bring mine because I don't want to be distracted during class. I usually type up a summary of my readings along with the case briefs within the readings and print out each set sorted by class date & topic. In class I hand write the teacher's comments and class notes over my type-written notes for that class. I am pretty deep into the semester at this point, but I just wanted to ask your opinions about this method. Thank you for your time.

Do whatever works best for you. That method wouldn't work at all for me, but I'm not you. If you think it's working well, then don't worry about what others think.
