Citation Help

Post by Nailjohnj » Thu Jun 28, 2012 12:02 am

I imagine no one will really read this because of the FASCINATING subject line, but can anyone help me figure out how to pincite SEC releases? I am writing a memo for a professor who wants quotes from SEC releases cited in proper Bluebook format, and I have found the rule on pg 226 of the 19th edition, but it doesn't give any information about pincites. Here is an example of a cite I have: Registration Statements, Securities Act Release No. 5279, 1972 WL 125473 (July 26, 1972). I want to cite to page 1 and late page 3 of the release, but I can't figure where to slap those numbers.

Thanks for the help

Registration Statements, Securities Act Release No. 5279, 1972 WL 125473, *1 or *3 (July 26, 1972).
